This Halloween in Mid Wales there are many frightful events taking place including mazes, railway journeys and terrifying walks.
Terror Mountain is first on the agenda with selected dates available to book your tickets; 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st October 2015. During these dates there will be three live action horror mazes; Wild Woods, Virus & Cursed.
In addition to some frightening activities there will be food, refreshments and live entertainment throughout the night. Each event will be taking place between 7pm – 11pm, so prepare yourself for one hell of a night!
Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway on the other hand have a different Halloween-themed event for you and that is their Ghostly & Ghoulish Train journeys. Booking yourself onto one of these with the family will bring you a night of spooky activities, fantastic firework displays and live entertainment whilst on the train.
Depending on your location, you can catch the Ghostly Train on 29th, 30th and 31st October from Porthmadog. This train will leave at 6pm and return at 9.30pm. Alternatively, you can catch the Ghoulish Train from Caernarfon at 6.30pm, returning at 9pm, where you will also stop off at the Snowdonia Parc Brewpub.
It is advised to book your tickets for these trains in advance, as they can sell out very fast!
If joining a ‘spook-tacular’ train journey is on the agenda for you, then Llangollen railway also have a spooky journey on the horizon. The Fright Night Ghost Train will commence on Saturday 31st October at 6.30pm with storytelling, twists and turns and prizes galore throughout the night! Get your best costumes ready and book yourself onto the ride.
