If you are lucky enough to be staying at Brightwater Lakes Holiday Park this summer, then do we have the perfect evening of entertainment planned for you! Our truly stunning location in Welshpool, Mid Wales is only a short drive away from the busy town of Shrewsbury, where a rather unique music festival is taking place on 26th August at The Quarry.
Shrewsbury Fake Festival 2017 is host to three world-famous tribute acts that put on a truly superb performance; looking, sounding and moving exactly like the real rock stars they are imitating. The festival will take place in one day and feature several local bands supporting the “fake bands” during the afternoon.
The festival organisers continuously work hard to ensure the festival is safe, secure, and accessible, with an emphasis on keeping a family friendly environment. Gather your friends and family and head over to the marquee tent to enjoy a warm, inside atmosphere so you can truly enjoy the music.
Purchase your drink tokens inside the marquee at £3.50 each and exchange them over at the bar for one alcoholic drink or two soft drinks. The bar is stocked full of chilled beers, ciders, bitters and spirits. However, if you arrive before 2pm then you will receive a free drink token to enjoy a drink on them! A variety of food stands will be around to accompany your drinks, serving a range of delicious meals such as pizza, burgers and jacket potatoes.
The festival is most definitely about the music, but you will find various stalls, children’s rides and inflatables to keep the family entertained throughout the day. The Guitar Rodeo may attract the attention of the competitive people amongst the crowd, where the winner will receive a free ticket to the three-day Big Fake Festival in September.
Tickets are selling out fast due to last year’s event going down an absolute storm, so hurry and get yours while stocks last!
