Eagle-eyed connoisseurs are eagerly awaiting their chance to attend Welshpool’s always superb Antique and Collectors Fair this November in what’s sure to be another fantastic edition of this much loved event for you to attend when you stay at holiday lodges mid Wales.

As ever, mid wales is going to prove a fantastic venue for those with a love of the traditional to come together to discuss and snap up what could potentially be a real deal. With Dickinson’s Real Deal recently shooting an episode in Caernarfon, the spotlight on antiques in Wales is well and truly on in blinding fashion.

By definition, an antique is something which at its making may not have been worth a great amount but over the years as appreciation for it or its producer has grown, as has its value. With the most expensive antique ever sold fetching a rather handsome £53 million, there could be one or two bargains for the attendees to find at Welshpool.

The brainchild of much respected antiques voice Martin Heath, this event is going to be a lot of fun for experts and newcomers alike. Whether you’re looking to buy or sell or haggle to your heart’s content, the sellers at the event will more than facilitate you.

There are over 50 stalls for which you to get invested in with everything ranging from bric-a-brac to beautiful paintings to whet your interest. For £1 entry and with children allowed in for free, you’d be crazy to miss an opportunity to indulge your collector side.

After your wallet is either a lot heavier or fuller, you can enjoy some of the fine Welsh food at the on-site café and eat safe in the knowledge that you have the generosity of free parking – no need to wolf down that delicious bacon sandwich too quickly!

If you fancy taking a step back in history, make sure you attend the Welshpool Collector’s Fair this year!
